What NVL trade access is
NVL trade access is a free wholesale account that gives Australian hair and beauty professionals trade pricing on the NVL professional range. It is open to salon owners, home salons, chair renters, freelance and mobile stylists, barbers, and beauty or skin clinics who hold a valid ABN.
Applying takes about a minute. Every application is reviewed by the NVL team and approved within 1 business day. There is no application fee, no account fee, and no minimum order. NVL ships Australia-wide from Melbourne.

Trade access is for people working in the industry. If you hold a valid ABN and you work with hair or beauty, you qualify, whether you run a salon floor or a single chair.

Who can apply for an NVL trade account?
NVL trade access is for hair and beauty professionals working in Australia. That includes salon owners, home salon operators, chair renters, freelance and mobile stylists, barbers, and beauty or skin clinics. You do not need a shopfront. Applications are reviewed by the NVL team and trade access is not available to the general public.
Do I need an ABN to open a trade account?
Yes. A valid ABN or ACN is required to open an NVL trade account, and you enter it on the last step of the application. Trade pricing is only available to registered industry businesses.
How long does trade account approval take?
Applications are reviewed manually and approved within 1 business day. You receive an email confirming your account once it is approved. Applications that need more information are followed up directly by the team.
Is there a minimum order on an NVL trade account?
No. There is no minimum order on an NVL trade account. You can order small and often rather than buying in bulk, which suits home salons, chair renters and mobile stylists as well as larger salons.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Applying for NVL trade access is free and there is no ongoing account fee or membership cost. The application takes about a minute to complete.
Can I apply if I work from home or rent a chair?
Yes. Home salons, chair renters, freelance stylists and mobile stylists are all eligible for NVL trade access as long as you hold a valid ABN and work in the industry. Most NVL trade members are independent operators rather than multi-site salons.
Do you ship interstate?
Yes. NVL ships Australia-wide from Melbourne, including Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, the ACT and the Northern Territory.
What products can I access with a trade account?
Trade members get trade pricing across the NVL professional range, including colour, care, and the smoothing systems for keratin and nanoplasty treatments, plus the beauty range. Members also get first access to NVL education and workshop bookings.
What if I am not a hair or beauty professional?
Trade access is limited to industry professionals. If you are shopping as a consumer you can buy from the NHBS retail site at nhbs.com.au instead.
